The city of Alcalá de Henares, a World Heritage site since 1998, enjoys a privileged location with regards to other similar spaces. It is well connected with Madrid: 30 kilometres from the capital on the A-2 (Madrid-Saragossa-Barcelona) and on the radial R-2 It is just 15 kilometres from the Aeropuerto de Madrid-Barajas
From the Avenida de América, a línea regular de autobuses runs services to the city all day.
In addition, the C-2, C-7 and C-1 lines run by Cercanías de RENFE depart from Madrid-Chamartín station every 8 minutes to Alcalá de Henares.
