  • Infraestructure logistics plan

    The new Silk Route

The Logistics Infrastructure Plan has developed an ambitious international strategy placing Madrid as one of the key points on this new Silk Route.

The Community of Madrid will be the center of three main axes around which world trade commerce moves in so-called "sea highways" through cooperation agreements with institutions in different countries, from Panama to Shanghai. These axes are:

    • Atlantic Axis: connected with the United States and Latin America.
    • North European Axis: connected with Germany, Holland, Belgium and Russia.
    • Southeastern Mediterranea-Asiatic Axis: including India, Dubai and Qatar.
