  • why a cluster network

Creating the Network of Parks and Clusters of the Community of Madrid was a key component of improving the Community’s innovation system and in achieving the objectives set forth by the European Innovation Plan.

The expected additional impact of implementing this network on the innovation system will allow the Madrid region to be a leader of the most innovative regions of Southern Europe (generating quality employment and value added business activities) and to achieve the objectives in effort and results in innovation established by Horizon 2010.

The Network was created as a General Interest Business Association (non-profit) which allows for:

:: The integration of public entities.
:: Its classification as “general interest”, which implies obtaining certain tax-related benefits.
:: Developing marketable services and generating income derived from the provision of said services.
