Vertice takes "transmedia" to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid

    • All the fashion shows in Fashion Week can be seen live via web tv and available for smartphones.

Vertice has designed the web tv for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, http://www.mercedesbenzfashionweekmadrid.tv/, plus all its content, including live shows and a complete program of interviews and reports. MBFWMadrid TV is a new way to enjoy Madrid's fashion catwalks.

On Wednesday, February 1, the new Madrid Pasarela web tv station began more than ten hours of live programming from Pavilion 14 at IFEMA. Videoreport, part of the Vertice Group, besides broadcasting all parades for the media, is also responsible for producing the live TV show, a complete guide to the 55th edition of the most important fashion event in our country, ending 5 February.

Sagra Mielgo is the presenter, accompanied by Laia Monstseny, who will cover the whole catwalk with his camera. This time around, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Madrid TV has the special collaboration of fashion expert Clara Courel who will give an in-depth report of every day's events.

      Technology

The program is broadcast from a set designed and built by Videoreport, located in hall 14 itself. Vertice Group has prepared a technological arsenal including 13 cameras, which will capture every moment of Fashion Week Madrid: from the two bridges that will host the live shows, the kissing room, where the cocktail parties take place, backstage, where we can see the models just before each show, to an ENG camera that Laia Montseny will take to the most unexpected of places.

A new way of watching TV

Another company in the same group, VerticeIN, has been commissioned to design the web tv of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, a portal offering over ten hours of daily programming and exclusive content for free, presented in an intuitive and attractive way. All content will also be available on smartphones and it can be shared and recommended through social networks.

Recordings of both the parades and the extras can be seen through the web.

More than 100,000 visitors in five days

During last September's edition, Madrid Fashion Week web TV, also created by Vertice, registered more than 100,000 visitors from all over the world: Spain, France, Italy, USA, UK, Mexico etc.

Significantly more visitors are expected with the premiere of the new web tv,.

From the 6th, users can enjoy all these and other new content. A new challenge in online fashion and television.
